Subject to increased cooperation, leadership and funding from other interested watershed II <br /> parties, implement expanded watershed management nitrate reduction efforts($1.4 million I <br /> total present worth). <br /> 2. Complete DeWitt County and Cisco Well Fields Capacity Study. <br /> o If Capacity Study is favorable, conduct a detailed feasibility and alignment study <br /> for the DeWitt County well field pipeline. <br /> o If feasibility and alignment study is favorable, then construct the DeWitt County <br /> well field pipeline to North Water Treatment Plant ($14.9 million total present <br /> worth). <br /> o If capacity or feasibility and alignment study is not favorable (and ADM does not <br /> operate the North Water Treatment Plant), install ion exchange equipment at <br /> North Water Treatment Plant ($3.5 million to $5.3 million total present worth, <br /> depending on watershed management effectiveness). <br /> 3. Conduct Vulcan gravel pit storage water quantity and quality study. <br /> o If study is favorable, install blending equipment at South Water Treatment Plant <br /> ($445,000 to $4.2 million total present worth, depending on watershed <br /> management effectiveness). <br /> o If study is not favorable, install ion exchange equipment at South Water Treatment <br /> Plant ($5.1 million to $7.2 million total present worth, depending on watershed <br /> management effectiveness). <br />
