Reed, Mass Transit Administrator � � <br /> Subject: Downstate Operating Assistance Grant Agreement for FY'98 <br /> Upon City Council approval, the attached resolution will authorize the execution of a <br /> Downstate Operating Assistance Agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation. <br /> Under terms of the agreement, the State will reimburse the City for 49% of the eligible operating <br /> expenses of the Decatur Public Transit System in FY'98. <br /> The mass transit operating budget for the year is $2,235,000 and the federal share is <br /> $445,000.
