Consistent with the ', <br /> direction provided by Council, City staff has completed specifications and solicited competitive � <br /> bids from qualified contractors. ' <br /> Funding for this project will be through the Motor Vehicle Parking System Fund, which I <br /> supports the operation and maintenance of this garage. As indicated previously, this expenditure �� <br /> will leave very little funding for other Motor Vehicle Parking System capital projects in Fiscal <br /> Year 1998-99. I <br /> Bids were received on February 23, 1998, for the subject project. The results of the letting <br /> are as follows: <br /> Compared to <br /> Bidder Bid Price En�ineer's Est. <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ 110,000.00 --- <br /> Otto Baum & Sons, Inc. 104,250.00 - 5.23% <br /> Christy-Foltz, Inc. 107,109.00 - 2.63% <br />
