R98-25 � RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ANNEXATION AGREEMENT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: � Section 1. That the Annexation Ag�-eement presented to the Council herewith between the City of Decatur and Bernard McCool and Ruth Anna McCool regarding the annexation of the property described below be, and the same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. A part of the Northwest '/a (NW `/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE '/4) of � Section 31, Township 17 North Range 3 East of the Third Principal - Meridian, said part described as follows: Beginnin� at a point, said point being the Southwest corner of the said NW '/4 of the NE i/4 of Section 31; thence N00°-47'-57"W (Assumed Bearing) along the West line of the said NW '/4 of the NE `/4 of Sec. 31, 800.19 feet; thence N 89°-16'18"E, 1314.86 feet on a line parallel to the North line of the said NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. 31, to a point which is 20 feet West of the East line of the said NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. 31; thence S00°-38'-56"E on a line which is 20 feet West of and parallel to the said East line of the NW '/4 of the NE '/4 of Sec. 31, 791.25 feet to a point on the South line of the said NW '/4 of the NE `/o of Sec. 31; thence S88°-52'-54"W along the said South line of the NW �/4 of the NE !% of Sec. 31, 1312.80 feet to the point of be�inning containing 24.00 acres, more or less, Section 2.
