Couter, Corporation Counsel <br /> RE: Wilder Haven East Mobile Home Park <br /> The Illinois Abandoned Mobile Home Act permits cities to appoint agents to dispose of <br /> abandoned mobile homes in mobile home pazks, and further requires the agents to indemnify the <br /> cities for any liability incurred in such disposals. The City of Decatur has previously authorized <br /> Garfield Estates to act in its behalf at that mobile home park. Wilder Haven East has requested <br /> the same authority. This statute provides a good means of taking care of a nuisance situation, <br /> and is in the interest of both the City and the Park. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the proposed resolution and agreement. <br /> JWC:ps <br /> cc: Wendy L.
