Swanson, City Engineer <br /> SUBJECT: Hyde Park Sanitary Sewer Extension <br /> City Project 9729 <br /> The City of Decatur Engineering Division opened bids to place a new sanitary sewer to the <br /> Hyde Park Mobile Home Park. The location of the sewer is shown on the attached map. The <br /> City has been working with the owners of the Mobile Home Park, the Sanitary District of Decatur <br /> and the Macon County Health Department to have this sewer placed. The Mobile Home Park has <br /> been experiencing problems with the internal septic systems that were placed when the Mobile <br /> Home Park was built. <br /> The owners of the Mobile Home Park have retained an engineer who has completed the <br /> design of the internal sewer and is awaiting State of Illinois permitting. Additionally, negotiations <br /> are underway with a contractor to place the internal sewer. The owners of the Mobile Home Park <br /> have annexed to the Sanitary District of Decatur and have paid their annexation fee. <br /> The project was advertised and bids were received and opened on January 8, 1998.
