Anderson Plaza Decatur, IL 62523 RE: CITY OF DECATUR Lighting Upgrade - Parking Garage C Lower Level - City Project 9736 ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT Dear Mr. Newell: This letter is written to establish an agreement between the City of Decatur (CITY) and Blank, Wesselink, Cook & Associates, Inc. (BWC) for professional engineering services in connection with the Lighting Up�rade - Parking Garage C, Lower Level, as outlined in City's Request for Proposal dated September 4, 1997, except Section 3.5, "Post Design Services. " BwC will provide engineering services necessary to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for the lighting upgrade as outlined in Enclosure (1) , Project Plan, dated October 14, 1997. The City shall provide BWC with access to Parking Garage C and provide all available plans and specifications of the existing facility. Compensation for the work stated herein and outlined in Enclosure (1) will be on a lump sum basis in the amount of $7, 300. 00. Should the CITY require changes in the work after the project is completed in accordance with this agreement or as a result of changes beyond the agreed scope of this agreement, the City shall pay BWC for such extra work based on a negotiated fee before the extra work begins. BWC will begin work within 10 days of City Council approval of this agreement and complete preliminary plans within 4 to 6 weeks.
