� � AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur, Illinois desires to cooperate with <br /> the Macon County Soil & water Conservation District to encourage, <br /> promote, and establish good soil and water conservation practices <br /> in the Lake Decatur Watershed area to reduce nitrate and sediment <br /> loads into the Lake, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by and between the District and the <br /> City of Decatur that the District will carry out the attached <br /> IEPA/USEPA Pollution Control Grant as follows : <br /> 1 . The term of this agreement is for 24 months, beginning July 1, <br /> 1997 and ending June 30, 1999 . <br /> 2 . The City will cover 40� ($74, 000) of the cost of the grant <br /> expenses and the USEPA will cover 60� ($111, 000) of the grant <br /> expenses upon presentation of bills from the District . The <br /> total costs of the IEPA/USEPA grant are: <br /> Technical educational sessions and promo items: $ 50, 445 <br /> Water quality cost share projects $108, 042 <br /> Macon Co. Soil � water admin and supplies � 26, 513 <br /> TOTAL $185, 000 <br /> 3 .
