Newell,P.E., Traffic Engineer�� <br /> SUBJECT: Resolution Authorizing a Joint Agreement Covering the Proposed <br /> Modernization of Traffic Signals at the Intersections of Franklin <br /> Street and Main Street with North Street and Wood Street <br /> An item on the agenda for the July 7, 1997, City Council meeting is an agreement between <br /> the City of Decatur and the State of Illinois covering the proposed modernization of traffic signals <br /> at the intersections of Franklin Street and Main Street with North Street and Wood Street. <br /> The City's portion of this $195,500 project is estimated to be $7,475 which will cover the <br /> cost to have the signal poles painted "Charleston Green" in keeping with the current downtown <br /> color scheme. <br /> The City's portion of this project will be paid for out of the Motor Fuel Tax Fund. <br /> Staff will be present to answer any questions the Council may have. <br /> attach: 2 � <br />
