Smith, Water Production Manager I <br /> SUBJECT: Lease Agreement between ', <br /> Vulcan Materials Company and the City of Decatur ! <br /> Attached is a copy of the Lease Agreement between Vulcan Materials Company and the City <br /> of Decatur. The property, located to the west of the City's South Water Treatment Plant sludge <br /> lagoons, was previously deeded to the City and approved by Council at the May 19, 1997, regular <br /> meeting. Vulcan Materials Company is leasing back a sma11 portion of the property where t�ieir <br /> stockpile of mined sand and gravel is stored and sold. <br /> Staff recommends approved of the attached Resolution and will be available at the meeting to <br /> answer any questions about the lease or locations. <br /> Attach. 2 <br /> cc: John Couter <br /> Beth Couter <br />
