AGREEMENT N0. SR.A 95-163 , Amendment No. 2 ' Sponsor: City of Decatur Acct. No. : 1-5-35340 University of Illinois Amendment No. 2 To Standard Research Agreement AMENDMENT N0. 2 TO STANDARD RESEARCH AGREEMENT between The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, and the City of Decatur, hereinafter designated as the Sponsor. WHEREAS, the parties identified above have entered into a Standard Research Agreement entitled: "Watershed Monitoring for the Lake Decatur Watershed" the original term of which Agreement commenced on May 1, 1995, and the term of which Agreement including all extensions thereof, if any, will terminate on July 31, 1997; and WHEREAS, said parties desire to extend such Agreement beyond the date of termination indicated above and fund such Agreement beyond the date of termination indicated above in accordance with the work entitled "Watershed Monitoring of the Lake Decatur Watershed" , (Exhibit A attached and incorporated) , THEREFORE, said parties now mutually agree to the Amendment of said Agreement for the period beginning on said date of termination and extending to July 31, 1998 under the same terms and conditions as set forth in the original agreement with subsequent amendments . The Sponsor agrees to provide for the expenses of the Agreement by paying to the University the additional sum of $35, 018, as follows : August 1, 1997 $8, 754 . 50 November 1, 1997 $8, 754 . 50 February 1, 1998 $8, 754 . 50 May 1, 1998 $8, 754 . 50 This Amendment of the aforesaid Agreement is executed effective as of May 5, , 1997 .
