Said insurance required in this section shall be written bv[he CITY under their self- insured pro�ram and by an insurance company or companies satisfactorv to the Sanitary District of Decatur for the CITY's excess covera,e. Before commencin�anv work hereunder,certificates evidencin�the maintenance of worker's compensation, ��eneral liabilitv, automobile liability and owners protective liabiliry shall be furnished to the Sanitary District of Decatur and shali contain substantiaily the followin� cancellation provision: "The insurance evidenced by this certiticate will not be canceled or materially reduced except after 30 days from receip[by the Sanitary District of Deca[ur and the Engineer of written notice thereoti." "The Worker's Compensation insurance evidenced by this certification is valid in [he State of Illinois." 1he Sanitary District a�rees to require the contractor for the HIC:<ORY POINT W EST SEWER- PART II Project to indemnify and hold the City of Decatur, it a�ents, officials, and employees harmless of anv and all claims and losses arising out oti work done by the con[ractor in the execution of the contract for said project. Further, the Sanitary District a;rees to require the contractor to name the City of Decatur as additional insured on �he conaactor's Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Owners' Protective Liabiliry insurance policies for the project,and to provide the CfTY with evidence of said covera�es throu�h vafid certificates of insurance for the duration of said project. 12) DEFAULT OF AGREEME�IT ln case of detiauft, the CITY agrees to pay all zxpenses, attorney fees and associated costs that the DISTR(CT may incur in enforcing the terms of this a�reement. 7
