Pa�ro1 the traffic control signal system on a regular basis and replace <br /> burned ouf lamps or damaned sockets as may be required. Al1 lamps should <br /> be replaced as frequently as experience proves necessary to prevent undue <br /> failures. The reflector and lens should be cleaned each time a lamp is <br /> re�laced. All replacemen� lamps shal] equal the wattage and type of the <br /> exis�ing lamp. <br /> 2. Keep signal heads properly adjusted, controller cabinets� si aal . <br /> and controller pedestals tight on their foundations and in aligngiaent.posts. <br /> 3. Keep detector equipmenfi in proper vorkinq order. . <br /> 4• Check the contrallers� relays, and detectors at frequent intervals � to <br /> ascertaio that they are functioniog properly and make atl necessary <br /> repairs and replacement. <br /> 5. Keep interior of controlier cabinet in a �eat co�dition at o11 times. <br /> 6. Remove� clean and overnaul the controllers (excep� solid—state). relays I <br /> special auxiliary control equipment, and time clock once a year or more ' <br /> ofitan if ne�essary. When solid—state co�trollers malfunc�ion, they shall ' <br /> be removed. repaired. and bench checked.
