Newell, Trat�'ic Engineer�i�i°� <br /> SUBJECT: Joint Agreement for the Proposed Modernization of Traffic <br /> Signals at the Intersections of Eldorado Street with Oakland <br /> Avenue, Monroe Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive <br /> Attached is a resolution appropriating $4,312 for the City's share of the cost for the <br /> proposed modernization of the e�sting traffic signals at the intersections of Eldorado Street with <br /> Oakland Avenue, Monroe Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The City currently has <br /> jurisdiction over 50% of each intersection involved in the proposed improvement, with the State <br /> having jurisdiction over the remaining 50%. <br /> Estimated construction costs, listed by intersection on the attached Agreement, total an <br /> estimated $86,250. The Federal Government will pick up $67,500 of the overall estimated <br /> project cost, with the State picking up $14,438 and the City at $4,312. <br /> City funding will be paid through the Motor Fuel Tax Fund with the funds set aside for <br /> Miscellaneous Traffic Signal work. <br /> Staff will be present to answer any questions the Council may have. <br /> attach: 2 <br />
