R2016-22 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOCAL AGENCY AGREEMENT FOR <br /> FEDERAL PARTICIPATION WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR THE <br /> IMPROVEMENT OF MOUND ROAD BRIDGE OVER SPRING CREEK EAST <br /> CITY PROJECT 2013-25 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur endeavors to improve a segment of Mound Road at Mound <br /> Road Bridge Over Spring Creek East, (Structure No. 058-3037), that is approximately 0.01 miles in <br /> length and known to the Illinois Department of Transportation as MFT Section Number 13-00325- <br /> 00-BR and State Job Number C-97-O51-15. <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of said improvement has necessitated the use of federal funds, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the federal fund source requires a match of local funds, and; <br /> WHEREAS,the use of federal funds requires a joint funding AGREEMENT with the <br /> Department of Transportation. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois authorizes Two Hundred <br /> Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00,) or as much of such sum as may be needed in State Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds to match federal funds in the completion of the aforementioned project known as MFT Section <br /> Number 13-00325-00-BR. <br /> Section 2.
