Getz Jr.,Interim Chief of Police SUBJECT: The purpose of this memorandum is to request the expenditure of funds to SunGard Public Sector for the OSSI annual service agreement. SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: It would be the recommendation of staff that the annual SunGard Public Sector OSSI maintenance agreement, at a total cost of$130,74022,be paid.The agreement would be paid out as follows according to the Intergovernmental Agreement currently in place: $126,765.72 from Decatur Police Communications line item and$3,974.50 from Decatur Fire Department line item.The Decatur Police Department will then receive contractual reimbursement from Macon County in the amount of$20,447.77 and from the Village of Mt.Zion in the amount of$2,915.51,for their respective contractual percentage shares. BACKGROUND: The City of Decatur signed an annual maintenance agreement with SunGard Public Sector on June 3,2013 for the commencement date of June 1,2013 and expiring on May 31,2014.The SunGard Maintenance agreement provides service and maintenance to the baseline software identified in Exhibit 1 of the software maintenance agreement.The contract now needs renewed for the period covering June 1,2016 through May 31,2017. PRIOR COUNCIL ACTION: Prior Council action has approved similar requests for prior years. Renewal in 2015 was approved under Council Resolution R2015-66. POTENTIAL OBJECTIONS: No objections are anticipated. STAFF REFERENCE: James E.
