RESOLUTION NO. R2016-53 <br /> RESOLUTION TO APPROPRIATE MOTOR FUEL TAX FUNDS <br /> FOR LIGHTING COMPONENT REPLACEMENT <br /> ON U.S. ROUTE 36 BRIDGE OVER LAKE DECATUR <br /> BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE <br /> CITY PROJECT 2015-01 <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of$60,000.00 of Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds for the purpose of replacing lighting components on the U.S. 36 Bridge over Lake Decatur <br /> under the applicable provisions of the Illinois Highway Code. <br /> Section 2. That only those streets, highways; and operations as listed and described as <br /> part of the U.S. Route 36 Bridge Lighting Replacement Project, are eligible for Motor Fuel Tax <br /> funds and shall be designated as Section 15-00501-00-LT. <br /> Section 3. That the Clerk shall, as soon as practicable after the close of the period as <br /> given above, submit to the Department of Transportation on forms furnished by said Department, <br /> a certified statement showing expenditures from and balances remaining in the account(s) for <br /> this period; and <br /> Section 4.
