R95-161 <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING AGENT FOR REMOVAL <br /> OF ABANDONED MOBILE HOMES <br /> - GARFIELD ESTATES - <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That pursuant to the Illinois Abandoned Mobile Home Act (210 ILCS 117/1 et <br /> seq.), and until terminated as provided herein, Garfield Estates, a partnership, be, and it is hereby, <br /> appointed agent of the City for all purposes stated in said Act, but only for those abandoned <br /> mobile homes located in Garfield Estates Mobile Home Park, 3611 East Garfield, Decatur, <br /> Illinois. <br /> Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to terminate the <br /> above-described agency relationship by a written notice stating same mailed to, or personally <br /> served upon, Garfield Estates, a partnership, at such time as said action appears appropriate to <br /> said officer. <br /> Section 3. That said City Manager be, and he is hereby, further authorized and directed <br /> to execute, on behalf of the City, an Indemnification and Hold-Harmless Agreement with <br /> Garfield Estates, a partnership, in substantially the form presented herewith to Council. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED this 6th day November, 1995. <br /> _�.__--.-------.�`` .✓�---''��� <br /> TERRY .
