AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF DECATUR REHABILITATION OF THE LOWER BROADWAY SEWER I��' TffiS AGREEMENT,made and entered into thi�day of October, 1995 by and between the CI1'Y OF DECA1'LTR,II.LINOIS, hereinafter referred to as the "CI7'Y" and BAINBRIDGE, GEE,NIILANSKI&ASSOG7ATES,INC., 1670 South Taylorville Road, Decatur, Illinois 62521, hereinafter referred to as the"ENGINEER", covers professional engineering services in connection with the preparation of rehabilitation documents for the 84-inch Lower Broadway Sewer and construction supervision and resident inspection of the improvements (if so directed by the CTTY), hereinafter referred to as the"PROJECT". Said PROJECT, commencing at the intersection of Prairie Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, extends southwesterly approximately 2700 feet to the Broadway Diversion Structure No. 6, and has been designated CITY PROJECT 9519. THEREFORE, in consideration of these premises and of the mutual covenants herein set forth, THE ENGINEER AGREES: 1. Bv-nass Facilities - To perform or be responsible for the performance of the following engineering services in connection with flow by-pass facilities when so directed by the CTTI'. a. Make such detailed surveys as are necessary for the preparation of detailed construction plans of reusable by-pass facilities. b. Obtain on behalf of the CTI'Y, all required approvals and permits from applicable regulatory agencies. c. Prepare detailed construction drawings for the by-pass facilities. d. Prepare detailed specifications and contract bidding documents, ie. PROJECT MANUAL for the by-pass facilities.
