Prepaze detailed estimate of construction cost based on final plans and documents. <br /> f. Furnish ten (10) copies of the detailed construction drawings and PROJECT <br /> MANUAL. Additional sets sha11 be furnished, upon request, at the actual cost of <br /> preparing and delivering same. <br /> g. Assist the CITY in receipt of bids and in the tabulation and interpretation of the <br /> Contractor's Proposal. <br /> h. Provide construction guidance and resident inspection services during the <br /> constiuction of the by-pass facilities. Said services are as described in Sections 4 and <br /> 5 of THE ENGINEER AGREES. <br /> 2. Design Concept Report - To perform the following engineering services in the preparation <br /> of a report recommending a rehabilitation strategy. <br /> a. Perform an internal survey of the sewer and manholes contained within the limits of <br /> the PROJECT area. <br /> b. Quantify all defects noted during the internal survey as to severity and exact location. <br /> c. Prepare a VHS format videotape of the internal inspection. Said videotape to be of <br /> such quality that defects are readily depicted and locateable. <br /> d. Perform or be responsible for the performance of laboratory and field testing to <br /> ascertain pH, temperature, hydrogen sulfide content, velocity and flow rate of the <br /> e$luent within the PROJECT. <br /> e. Review available infotmation about the sewer including condition surveys, reports, <br /> etc. <br /> f. Assess current in-line rehabilitation technology as to project applicability and <br /> constructability in order to achieve an estimated design life of 50 years based on <br /> cunent conditions. <br /> BGM 95050 Page 2 of 9 <br />
