Service Agreement <br /> Dear Jerry: <br /> Reference is hereby made to the Agreement dated May 25, 1994 ("Agreement") <br /> between the City of Decatur ("Client") and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Illinois) <br /> ("Gallagher"). The parties agree to amend Section III B. 1 . of the Agreement to read <br /> as follows: <br /> "Client shall pay Gallagher a fee of $35,000 for the initial term of this <br /> Agreement for services provided hereunder, payable upon execution of this <br /> Agreement, and a fee of 525,000 per year for each renewal term, payable on <br /> or before the anniversary date of this Agreement". <br /> This amendment shall be effective as of October 1 , 1995. All other terms and <br /> conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> Kindly indicate your acceptance of this amendment in the space provided below and <br /> return one fully executed original of this letter to me at your earliest convenience. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> Arthur J.
