Bean,Neighborhood Services Manager � <br /> Vickie Buckingham,Neighborhood Renewal Administrato <br /> SUBJECT: Downtown Rental Rehabilitation Program <br /> John and Elizabeth Ballog <br /> Denz Building <br /> 139 Merchant Street <br /> Decatur, Illinois <br /> Attached please find the bid tabulation for the rehabilitation of 139 Merchant Street,the Denz <br /> Building, and a resolution for approval of the same. <br /> City Council previously approved $20,000.00 per unit for this six unit Downtown Rental <br /> Rehabilitation Project in accordance with the program guidelines. <br /> John and Elizabeth Ballog have followed federal regulations in conducting the bidding <br /> procedures and are requesting City Council approval of the award to J.J. Swartz in the amount <br /> of$321,015.00. The owner would provide $201,015.00 and the City would provide <br /> $120,000.00. <br /> Attachment <br />
