RESOLUTION NO. R � � �� !� <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACTION <br /> REGARDING UNSAFE STRUCTURES <br /> 812 N. MONROE; 1112 E. PRAIRIE; 1213 E. LEAFLAND; <br /> 917 N. WOODFORD; 1252 E. CONDIT; 1143 W. FOREST; <br /> 1421 N. MORGAN: 851 W. GREEN; 1244 E. HICKORY <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Decatur, Illinois, has <br /> found and does hereby find that certain structures within the <br /> City located on premises at the addresses set out on Exhibit A, <br /> hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof, are dangerous and <br /> unsafe, or are uncompleted or abandoned; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the better interest of the general public <br /> health, safety and welfare that said structures be repaired or <br /> demolished. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the officers and employees of the City be, <br /> and they are hereby, authorized and directed to give such notice <br /> and to take such action as may be provided by law, including <br /> application for order of court, to cause said structures to be <br /> put in safe condition or, if not so repaired to be demolished. <br /> PRESENTED AND ADOPTED th'1S 17th day Of ly, 1995. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> � <br /> TY CLERK <br />
