\� . � . <br /> _ ` <br /> r .. . • ` . <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> ` For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants <br /> set out herein, it is agreed by and between the Owner(s) of the <br /> premises described at paragraph 8 hereof, and which person or <br /> persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner") , and THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS, ("City") , as follows: <br /> 1. The provisions of this Agreement, and the installation, <br /> operation anc� use of the water service �uthorized hereby, are ex- <br /> pressly made 'subject to � all applicable provisions of codes, or- <br /> dinances, rules and regulations of Ci�y, and Owner agrees to <br /> comply therewith. <br /> 2 . After completion of the construction of a water main by <br /> the City in the street or roadway adjacent to the prem'ises <br /> described herein, and upon obtaining a tapping permit in the cus- <br /> tomary manner followed by the City for premises within its cor- <br /> porate limits, Owner may tap said water main of City and connect <br /> a water service thereto to � furnish residential service only to <br /> said premises. <br />� 3 . Said tap, connection and service shall be made and in- <br /> stalled by a licensed plumber. <br /> 4 . The water furnished b Cit shall onl be used for domes- <br /> Y Y Y <br /> tic purposes and only upon the premises described herein. <br /> 5 . At such time as said premises become contiguous to the <br /> corporate limits of City, the then owner of said premises shal�l, <br /> within ninety (90) days after receiving notice from City thereof, <br /> petition to annex the same to the City. <br /> 6. This Agreement shall terminate upon the failure by Owner <br /> to comply with any provision hereof or with any applicable provi- <br /> sion of City Code, ordinances, rules or regulations, or upon the <br /> annexation of said premises to the City, and may be terminated by <br /> either party upon six (6) months notice by certified mail to the <br /> City, or to <br /> , if to the Owner. <br />
