, , . <br /> 5TAR AWARD <br /> The purpose of the STAR award is the prompt recognition of an employee's commitment <br /> to good CUSTOMER RELATIONS and to provide immediate recognition of the employee's <br /> efforts in the area of "OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE". The award enables <br /> supervisors as well as fellow employees to give thanks and express appreciation for excellent <br /> service. <br /> Supervisors may recognize their own employees as well as empployees in other divisions <br /> or departments. Employees may recognize other employees and they may also recognize <br /> supervisors. Recognition across department, division and lines of supetvision is strongly <br /> encouraged. <br /> All recipients of the STAR award, as well as those people who make recommendations <br /> for the award, will be entered in a drawing to be held bi-monthly. The winner of the drawing will <br /> be entitled to four (4) hours of paid leave. The leave date must be approved by the department <br /> director and taken within twelve(12) months. <br />
