h. y , EXHIBIT "A" <br /> MACON COUNTY BOARD RESOLUTION FOR ENTERING INTO <br /> AGREEMENT AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS <br /> - COUNTY HIGHWAY 50 (LOST BRIDGE ROAD) AND IL ROUTE 121 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. H-593-8-94 <br /> WHEREAS, Macon County desires to enter into an agreement <br /> with the State of Illinois and City of Decatur for the <br /> installation of traffic signals at the intersection of Illinois <br /> Route 121 with Lost Bridge Road (CH50 ) , which shall be included <br /> in State Section (101R-1) I, I-1; and, <br /> WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it <br /> is necessary for the County to appropriate sufficient funds to <br /> pay its share of the cost of this improvement . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MACON COUNTY BOARD <br /> THAT it hereby enters into an agreement with the State of <br /> Illinois and City of Decatur to provide said traffic signals and <br /> hereby appropriates the sum of Ten-thousand Dollars ( $10 , 000) or <br /> so much thereof as may be necessary, from the Matching Fund <br /> Account to pay its share of the cost of this improvement as <br /> provided in the Agreement; and, I� <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon award of the contract for I <br /> this improvement, the County will pay to the Department of <br /> Transportation of the State of Illinois in a lump sum , an amount <br /> equal to 950 of its obligation incurred under this Agreement, and <br /> wi11 pay to the said Department the remainder of the obligation <br /> ( including any non-participating costs on FA Projects) in a lump <br /> sum, upon completion of the project based on final costs . <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County agrees to pass a <br /> supplemental resolution to provide necessary funds for its share <br /> of the cost of this improvement if the amount appropriated herein <br /> proves to be insufficient to cover said cost .
