. . , . . �� �r- ��y ' <br /> WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT <br /> For and in consideration of the undertakings and covenants <br /> set out herein, it is aqreed by and between the Owner(s) of the <br /> premises described at paragraph 8 hereof, and which person or <br /> persons are signatory hereto, ("Owner") , and THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS, ("City") , as follows: <br /> l. The provisions of thi� Agreement, and the installation, <br /> operation and use of the water service authorized hereby, are <br /> expressly made subject to all applicable provisions of codes, <br /> ordinances, rules and requlations of City, and Owner agrees to <br /> comply thereby. <br /> 2. After completion of the construction of a watermain by <br /> the City in the street or roadway adjacent to the premises <br /> described herein, and upon obtaining a tapping permit in the <br /> customary manner followed by the City for premises within its <br /> corporate limits, Owner may tap said watermain of City and <br /> connect a water service thereto to furnish service only to said <br /> premises. <br /> 3. Said tap, connection and service shall be made and <br /> installed by a licensed plumber. <br /> 4. The water furnished by City shall be used only upon the <br /> premises described herein. <br /> 5. At such time as said premises become contiguous to the <br /> corporate limits of City, the then owner of said premises shall, <br /> within ninety (90) days after receiving notice from City thereof, <br /> petition to annex the same to the City. <br /> 6. This agreement shali terminate upon the failure by <br /> Owner to comply with any provision hereof or with any applicable <br /> provision of City Code, ordinances, rules or regulations, or upon <br /> the annexation of said premises to the City, and may be <br /> terminated by either party upon six (6) months notice by <br /> certified mail to the City, or to <br /> , if to Owner. <br />
