No Ai�tomatic Renewal• Holclover Fees This twenty-five (25) year license is not � <br /> automatically renewable and any request for authority for the continued maintenance and use of the <br /> public ways as herein described after this Agreement expires or is otherwise terminated in any <br /> manner must be specifically obtained from the City Council subject to the terms and conditions that <br /> may be agreed upon at that time. Provided, however, if for any reason, the Grantee continues to � <br /> utilize the System beyond the expiration of the term, it shall pay to the City an amount which is I <br /> double the previous year's payment (prorated to a daily charge) for each and every day the System I��I <br /> remains upon the City's right-of-way. Renewal authority shall be requested by the Grantee not less I� <br /> than ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of this Agreement. <br /> Section 14. Termination. This Agreement may be terminated by the City, if after at least <br />' twenty-one (21) days written notice to the Grantee, the Grantee fails to remedy an alleged breach of <br /> the Agreement speci�ed in such notice. If the alleged breach is incapable of being remedied within <br /> said twenty-one (21) days, this Agreement may be terminated unless the Grantee has taken <br /> substantial steps to remedy the alleged breach within said twenty-one (21) days and notified the City <br /> of such steps. <br /> Section 15. The Grantee agrees that this Agreement shall be subject to re-negotiation, at the <br /> request of the City, if Grantee begins delivery of local exchange service directly to Decahu <br /> customers by use of the System; modification of this Agreement shall be in a manner consistent with <br /> requirements of other providers of similar service in the City. Failure to reach agreement at the <br /> conclusion of such negotiations may be cause for termination of this Agreement; provided that, this <br /> provision shall not be construed as a waiver by Grantee of its rights at law to use of public <br /> right-of-way. <br />
