requirement shall not apply to a grantee which.operates a <br /> school system in the area to be served and operates a separate <br /> and exclusive school bus program for the school system (see <br /> Section 49.19(13) , Civil Administrative Code of Illinois). - . � <br /> The Grantee shall submit to the Department a certification that <br /> it is not engaged in school bus operations in violation of <br /> Section 49.19(13) of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois <br /> at such times as determined by the Department. <br /> TTEM 37 - CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS <br /> If construction contracts are to be implemented, Grantee shall <br /> comply with all federal and state laws and regulations <br /> pertaining to the use of public funds in construction <br /> contracts. Such regulations include, but are not limited to, <br /> the following: Department of Labor Nondiscrimination, Minimum <br /> Wages, Debarment, Davis-Bacon Act, and the Copeland Act. <br /> ITEM 38 - SUBSTANCE ABUSE <br /> The Grantee agrees to comply with the Illinois Drug Free <br /> Workplace Act (30 ILCS 580/1 g� seg.) and has signed the State <br /> of Illinois Drug Free Workplace Certification attached to this <br /> Agreement as Exhibit C. <br /> ` TTFM 39 ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION AND ENERGY <br /> REOUIREMENTS <br /> The Grantee recognizes that many Federal and State statutes <br /> imposing environmental, resource ,conservation, and energy <br /> requirements may apply to the Pro�ect. <br /> Accordingly, the Grantee agrees to adhere to� and impose on its <br /> subrecipients, any such Federal � State requirements, as the <br /> Government may now or in the future promulgate. <br /> 19 <br />
