, c E � . . <br /> TT�M 1 - DEFINITIONS <br /> , As used in this Agreement: . <br /> a. Mass Transvortation Service means general or special <br /> transportation service provided to the public (but not <br /> school bus, charter or sight-seeing service) on a regular <br /> and continuing basis in the service area described in the <br /> Grantee's final, approved application. <br /> b. Net PrQject Cost means the sum of the eligible costs <br /> incurred in performing the work on the Project, including <br /> work done by the Grantee� less proceeds from sale of scrap <br /> and replaced facilities. "Net Pro�ect Cost" does not <br /> include grant administrative costs. <br /> c. Project Facilities means any facilities, equipment or real <br /> property purchased, acquired, constructed� improved, <br /> renovated or refurbished as part of the Project. <br /> ITEM 2 - THE PROJECT <br /> The Grantee agrees to undertake and complete the Project and to <br /> provide for the use of Pro,ject facilities and equipment as <br /> described in the Grantee's final application approved by the <br /> Department� as specified by the approved Project Budget and in <br /> accordance with this Agreement and all applicable laws. The <br /> Pro�ect, which is more particularly described in the plans� <br /> specifications and schedules set forth in the Grantee's final <br /> application, is generally described as: <br /> 10.02.02 Office Equipment; <br /> 10.06.00 Acquisition of Property; <br /> 10.06.20 Construction; <br /> 10.08.01 Arch/Engineering; <br /> 10.10.00 Demolition; <br /> 10.10.00 Contingency; <br /> 10.08.03 Copy Machine; . <br /> 11.12.02 1�o Buses; and <br /> 11.42.11 Three Support Vehicles. <br /> ITEM 3 - AMOUNT OF GRANT ' <br /> The total project cost is estimated to be $3,109,773. The <br /> Department agrees to make a grant in an amount equal to twenty <br /> percent of the actual total project costs as determined by the <br /> Department upon completion of the pro3ect, not to exceed a <br /> State share of $621,955. <br /> No liability shall be incurred by the State in excess of the <br /> amount of the Grant. . <br /> • 2 <br />
