Kaptain <br /> Executive Director <br /> , Sanitary District of Decatur <br /> 501 Dipper Lane <br /> Decatur, IL 62522 <br /> ' Subject: Sanitary District of Decatur <br /> West Mound Road Trunk Sewer Extension <br /> Engineering Services <br /> ' Dear Mr. Kaptain: <br /> ' In response to our recent discussions with you and staff, we <br /> propose to provide engineering services to assist the District in <br /> obtaining a low interest loan from the State Water Pollution Con- <br /> trol Revolving Fund (WPCRF) to provide a source of funding for the <br /> ' sewerage improvement project, West Mound Road Trunk Sewer Exten- <br /> sion. <br /> ' These services would include preparing an amendment to the <br /> Facilities Plan; providing technical assistance to the District <br /> staff in making a loan pre-application and loan application; at- <br /> ' tending required public meetings; arranging for a Phase I archaeo- <br /> logical reconnaissance survey; and assisting with other loan re- <br /> quirements. It is understood that certain data necessary for the <br /> preparation of the Facilities Plan Amendment such as sewer loca- <br /> ' tion, design criteria, cost estimates and project schedule will be <br /> furnished to us by the design engineer, Phillip W. Cochran. <br /> ' We propose charging for these services for time actually spent <br /> on the assignment in accordance with the following: <br /> , A. . A service charge, being the technical payroll cost to <br /> us of each employee engaged in the pursuance of the <br /> work and for the actual time engaged in the work times <br /> 2 . 0 to cover overhead and profit. <br /> , B.
