ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> CTTY OF DECATUR <br /> MASTER PLAN UPDATE AND WATER DISTRIBUTION <br /> SYSTEM HYDRAULIC MODEL <br /> � <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made as of the � day of C� , in <br /> the year Nineteen Hundred Ninety-Three by and between the ty of Decatur <br /> (hereinafter called the CLIENI�, and Clark Dietz, Inc. (hereinafter called the <br /> ENGINEER). <br /> WITNESSETH, THAT WHEREAS, the CLIENT intends to enter into a <br /> contract for engineering services to develop a Water Distribution System Hydraulic <br /> Model and to update the current Water Master Plan (hereinafter called the <br /> PROJEC'T). <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, the CLIENT and the ENGINEER in consideration of <br /> the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth agree as follows: <br /> SECTION 1 - SERVICES OF THE ENGINEER <br /> 1.1 General <br /> 1.1.1 The ENGINEER agrees to perform professional services in connection with <br /> the PROJECT as hereinafter sta.ted. <br /> 1.1.2 The ENGINEER will serve as the CLIEN'I''S professional engineering <br /> representative on those phases of the PROJECT to which this AGREEMENT <br /> applies, and will give consultation and advice to the CLIENT during the performance <br /> of his services. <br /> 1.2 Scope of Work. In completing the PROJECT, the ENGINEER will: <br /> 1.2.1 Meet with City staff to discuss project administrative details and to discuss and <br /> obtain reports, drawing and other project information. <br /> 1.2.2 Review the existing information and determine data collection requirements. <br /> Submit a letter to the City requesting the addition information and field work <br /> required. <br /> 1.2.3 Review existing population and water use information available from the City <br /> of Decatur, Macon County Regional Planning Commission, Illinois Bureau of the <br /> Budget and the U.S. Census. <br /> 1 <br />
