Flood Disaster Protection <br /> The Subrecipient agrees to comply with the requirements of <br /> the requirements of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of <br /> 1973 (P.L. -2234) in regard to the sale, lease or other <br /> transfer of land acquired, cleared or improved under the <br /> terms of this contract, as it may apply to the provisions of <br /> this contract. <br /> C. Lead Based Paint <br /> The Subrecipient agrees that any construction or rehabilita- <br /> tion of residential structures with assistance provided un- <br /> der this contract shall be subject to HUD Lead-Based Paint <br /> Regulations at 24 CFR 570 . 608, and 24 CFR Part 35, and in <br /> particular Sub-Part B thereof. Such regulations pertain to <br /> all HUD-assisted housing and require that all owners, <br /> prospective owners, and tenants or properties constructed <br /> prior to 1978 be properly notified that such properties may <br /> include lead-based paint.
