PREVAILING WAGE RATES <br /> The general prevailing rates of wages for the locality shall be <br /> paid for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to <br /> execute the contract or perform such work as stated in the <br /> Illinois Prevailing Wage Act ( I11 . Rev. Stat. 1987 , Ch. 48 , par. . <br /> 395-1 through 39S-12 ) . <br /> The contractor shall supply the City' s designated project <br /> coordinator with weekly certified copies of the payroll for both <br /> the prime contractor and his subcontractors . The City' s <br /> designated project coordinator will monitor the payroll for <br /> compliance with the applicable "prevailing wage rates" as <br /> contained herein. <br />
