Perry, Purchasing Supervisor!�� <br /> SUBJECT : THERMOPLASTIC PRE-MELTER AND SERVICE TRAILER BIDS <br /> Attached you will find a bid summary for a thermoplastic <br /> pre-melter and service trailer to be used by the Traffic <br /> Control Division of the Public Works Department . This <br /> machine will replace a 1977 unit currently in use . <br /> The new unit was previously authorized in October , and <br /> delivered, with manufacturing defects which forced the City <br /> to cancel the contract . <br /> The second low bidder meets City of Decatur specifications <br /> and has agreed to hold the price submitted in September . <br /> It is the staff recommendation to accept the bid of <br /> Pave Mark Corporation to furnish one ( 1 ) 1992 Thermoplastic <br /> pre-melter and service trailer #PM-1500-AJ-T for $29 , 290 . 00 . <br /> cc : Beth Couter <br />
