Ba�, Jr. , City Manager <br /> RE: Resolution Authorizing City Officers to Administer <br /> Federally-Assisted Programs <br /> The Community Development Director and I presently acquire <br /> property and transfer ownership of it as part of the city's <br /> housing rehabilitation programs. While the financial support for <br /> these programs come from city sources, the authority by which we <br /> make these transfers come from our positions as President and <br /> Secretary of DCDF, Inc. The attached resolution would allow the <br /> Community Development Director and I to perform exactly the same <br /> functions as we are presently doing except that the basis for our <br /> authority would be as officers of the City of Decatur. The <br /> Community Development Director and I believe that this authority <br /> is appropriate and beneficial in implementing the city' s <br /> rehabilitation programs. Consequently, we recommend adoption of <br /> the resolution. <br /> Attachment <br />
