As we discussed, Ralph Andersen & Associates is interested and available to provide whatever assistance the city may require in this important effort. This letter confirms our understanding of the services you are presently considering. As we understand your requirements, Ralph Andersen& Associates will provide the City of Decatur with the following specific services: ■ We will discuss the particular credentials, professional background and experience necessary for the Public Works Director position with you, the City Manager, the immediate past Director and others you may deem appropriate. , ■ Using our network of sources and contacts within the public works management and municipal engineering professions, we will develop a list of qualified potential candidates. ■ We will prepare and deliver a memo report on the results of our candidate identification effort. Ralph Andersen & Associates' involvement in the recruitment effort will be limited to the development of a list of qualified potential candidates. The City of Decatur, will assume responsibility for all advertising of the position, direct candidate solicitation, resume review and screening, background checks, interviews and coordination of the final selection process. For the outlined services, the city agrees to compensate Ralph Andersen & Associates at the rate of$125/hour for professional services, plus reimbursement of direct expenses for such items as travel and per diem, long distance telephone, postage and delivery, reproduction and binding.
