As I discussed with you during our recent meeting, I <br /> have $15,000 of cooperative money available for this project for the remainder <br /> of our 1992 fiscal year which ends September 30, 1992. I am required to have <br /> all Joint Funding Agreements for the 1992 fiscal year signed and into our <br /> headquarters by mid-August. Because of this time constraint, I am sending you <br /> the Joint Funding Agreement ahead of the project proposal in hopes that you <br /> can begin processing it now. The $30,000 ($15,000 each side) from this Joint <br /> Funding Agreement will be used to begin the installation of streamgages and <br /> monitoring. <br /> We had a meeting of our water-quality personnel yesterday to discuss and <br /> develop an approach for the project. Several individuals are now working on a <br /> first draft of the project proposal, which we hope to send to you within the <br /> next two weeks. We will then schedule a meeting to discuss the proposal with <br /> you. <br /> ' If you concur with the Joint Funding Agreement, please sign the original and <br /> one copy and return them to this office for processing. We appreciate your <br /> interest in the cooperative program.
