. . „. <br /> ' � ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> This Annexation Agreement made by and between the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation ("City") , and <br /> John W. Schnake and Georgia J. Schnake (hereinafter "the <br /> Schnakes") . <br /> WHEREAS, the Schnakes are the owners of the following <br /> described premises: <br /> See Exhibit "A" attached hereto <br /> ("Premises") , <br /> which Premises are located outside of the corporate limits <br /> of the City and are not contiguous thereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Schnakes desire to annex said Premises to <br /> the City, but only upon certain terms and conditions, and at <br /> such time as said Premises are contiguous to the corporate <br /> limits of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that said terms and <br /> conditions, as contained herein, are reasonable and II <br /> acceptable; and, I! <br /> WHEREAS, hearings have been held and notice given as ' <br /> required by law. �I <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual 'I <br /> promises and obligations made and assumed herein, and ', <br /> pursuant to the authority of Ill.Rev.Stat. 1991, ch. 24, I <br /> par. 11-15. 1-1 et seq. , the City and the Schnakes agree as <br /> follows: <br /> 1.
