ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> This Annexation Agreement made by and between the City <br /> of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation ("City") , and <br /> B & R Development Company, a partnership ("B & R") . <br /> WHEREAS, B & R is the owner of the following described <br /> premises: <br /> See Exhibit "A" attached hereto <br /> ("Premises") , <br /> which Premises are located outside of the corporate limits <br /> of the City and are not contiguous thereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, B & R desires to annex said Premises to the <br /> City, but only upon certain terms and conditions, and at <br /> such time as said Premises are contiguous ta the corporate <br /> limits of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that said terms and <br /> conditions, as contained herein, are reasonable and <br /> acceptable; and, <br /> WHEREAS, hearings have been held and notice given as <br />' required by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual <br /> promises and obligations made and assumed herein, and <br /> pursuant to the authority of Il1.Rev.Stat. 1989, ch. 24, <br /> par. i1-15. 1-1 et seq. , the City and B & R agree as follows: <br /> 1. At such time as said Premises are contiguous to the <br /> corporate limits of the City, B & R shall file an annexation <br /> petition with the City, in compliance with Il1.Rev.Stat. <br />
