� • • -5- <br /> 4 . The City shall have the responsibility for <br /> establishing the guidelines for the Subsidized <br /> Taxi-Cab Program. <br /> 5 . The City shall register Program participants, <br /> determine eligibility, and furnish proper <br /> identification to eligible participants. <br /> 6 . The City shall provide adequate supplies of cab <br /> ride forms to individual participants, social <br /> agencies, the Cab Company, and other interested <br /> parties. <br /> 7 . The City shall promote the Program via radio, <br /> newspaper, informational brochures, and various <br /> other media as deemed necessary. <br /> 8 . The City shall determine the cash fare to be <br /> paid by Program participants and reserves the <br /> right to change that rate. <br /> 9 . The Cab Company shall be excused for failure to <br /> perform services under this Agreement if said <br /> service is prevented by reason of Acts of God, <br /> strikes, labor disputes or other occurrences <br /> over which the Cab Company has no control. <br /> 10 . If, during the course of this Agreement, the Cab ' <br /> Company fails or refuses to provide transporta- <br /> tion services for the Program for reasons other <br /> than those specified above, the City may, at its <br /> option, assess the Cab Company an amount not to <br /> exceed $100 .00 per day as damages from the date <br />
