During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees as follovs: � (1) That it uill not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race. color. religion. � sex, marital status. national origin or ancestry, age, physical or mental handicap unreiated to ability, or an unfavorable discharge from military se�vice; and further that it tiaill examine all ,�ob classifications to determine if minority persons or uomen are . underutilized and uill take appropriate affirmative action to rectify any such underutilization. � - (2) That� if it hires additional employees in order to perform this contract or nny portion thereof, it uill determ.ine the availability (in accordance uith the Department's Rules and Regulations) of minorities and vomen in the area(s) from c�hich it may reasonably recruit and it uill hire for each job classification for �ahich employees are hired in such a uay that minorities and uomen are not undezutilized.
