. . - 3 - responsible for the acts or omissions of any contractor( s ) , any subcontractor( s ) , or any of the contractor( s ) ' or subcontractor( s ) ' agents or employees or any other person (except his own employees and agents ) at the project site or for the supervision, direction, control and work safety of any contractor( s ) or for the construction means , methods, techniques , sequences, or procedures or for safety precautions or programs incidental to the work of contractor( s ) or for any contractor( s) failure to perform the construction work in accordance with contract documents . c . Keep a daily record or log of the contractor' s activities throughout construction including notations on the nature and cost of any extra work. d. Supervise all inspectors , proportioning engineers, and other technical personnel assigned to the project. e . Review and check all payment estimates , change orders, records, and reports pertaining to the construction ac- tivities. 4 . That all reports, plans, plats, estimates , and special conditions to be furnished by the ENGINEER in accordance with la to lh, inclusive, of THE ENGINEER AGREES shall be in accordance with the current standard specifications and policies of the CITY, it being understood that all such reports, plans , plats , estimates , and drafts shall , before being finally accepted, be subject to approval by the CITY. During the performance of the engineeri�g services herein provided for, the ENGINEER shall be responsible for any loss or damage to the documents herein enumerated while they are in the ENGINEER' S possession and any such loss or damage shall be restored at the ENGINEER' S expense. 5 . To attend conferences to be held at the request of the CITY and visit the site of the work at any reasonable time when requested to do so by the CITY. 6 . That tracings, plans , specifications , estimates, maps and other documents prepared by the ENGINEER in accordance with the AGREEMENT shall be delivered to and become the property of the CITY and that basic survey notes, sketches, charts , and other data prepared or obtained in accordance with this AGREEMENT shall be made available, upon request, to the CITY, without restriction or limitation as to their use. 7 . That should the CITY require changes in any of the detailed construction plans, specifications , or estimates after they have been completed in accordance with the contract or as a result of policy changes by the CITY during the time work is underway, the CITY shall pay the ENGINEER for such extra work in accordance with Section 3 of THE CITY AGREES .
