,� ' _1_ <br /> This Contract No. 1807 (hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Agreement") is made by and between the State of Illinois. <br /> (hereinafter referred to as "State")� acting by and through the <br /> Division of Public Transportation, in the State of Illinois <br /> Department of Transportation (both hereinafter collectively referred <br /> to as the "Department") and the City of Decatur � Illinois , a <br /> Public Body created under the laws of the State of Illinois <br /> (hereinafter referred to as the "Grantee", Which term shall include <br /> its successors and assigns) . <br /> iTHEREAS. the State has received a Federal Transit <br /> Administration mass transportation capital grant. Pro�ect No. <br /> IL-03-0160, for the purpose of partially funding the procurement of <br />' buses for eligible downstate grant recipients; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grantee is undertaking a mass transportation <br /> n n <br /> capital pro3ect (hereinafter referred to as the Project ); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Grantee is an eligible grant recipient and the <br /> Pro�ect is an eligible mass transportation project under the <br /> provisions of Illinois Revised Statutes� Chapter 127, Section 49 <br /> through 51 and Illinois Revised Statutes.
