-3- <br /> omissions of any contractor(s) , any subcontractor(s) , or <br /> any of the contractor(s) or subcontractors) ' agents or <br /> employee or any other person (except his own employees <br /> and agents at the project site or for the supervision, <br /> direction, control and work safety of any contractor(s) <br /> or for the construction means, methods, techniques, <br /> sequences, or procedures or for safety precautions or <br /> programs incidental to the work of contractor(s) or for <br /> any contractor(s) failure to perform the construction <br /> work in accordance with contract documents. <br /> c. Keep a daily record or log of the contractor's activities <br /> throughaut construction including notations on the nature <br /> and cost of any extra work. <br /> d. Supervise all inspectors, proportioning engineers, and <br /> other technical personnel assigned to the project. <br /> e. Review and check all payment estimates, change orders, <br /> records, and reports pertaining to the construction <br /> activities. <br /> 4. That all reports, plans, plats, estimates, and special <br /> conditions to be furnished by the ENGINEER in accordance with <br /> ta to 1i , inclusive, of THE ENGINEER AGREES shall be in <br /> accordance with the current standard specifications and <br /> policies of the CITY, it being understood that all such <br /> reports, plans, plats, estimates, and drafts shall , before <br /> bei ng f i nal 1 y accepted, be subject to approval by the CITY. <br /> During the performance of the engineering services herein <br /> provided for, the ENGINEER shall be responsible for any loss <br /> or damage to the documents herein enumerated while they are in <br /> the ENGINEER' S possession and any such loss or damage shall be <br /> restored at the ENGINEER'S expense. <br /> 5 . To attend conferences to be held at the request of the CITY <br /> and visit the site of the work at any reasonable time when <br /> requested to do so by the CITY. <br /> 6. That tracings, plans, specifications, estimates, maps and <br /> other documents prepared by the ENGINEER in accordance with <br /> the AGREEMENT shall be delivered to and become the property of <br /> the CITY and that basic survey notes, sketches, charts, and <br /> other data prepared or obtained in accordance with this <br /> AGREEMENT shall be made available, upon request, to the CITY, <br /> without restriction or limitation as to their use. <br /> 7 . That should the CITY require changes in any of the detailed <br /> construction plans, specification, or estimates after they <br /> have been completed in accordance with the contract or as a <br /> result of policy changes by the CITY during the time work is <br /> underway , the CITY shall pay the ENGINEER for such extra work <br />
