To pay the ENGINEER for services rendered in accordance with <br /> sub-sections 1c, 1g, and li ; Section 2 (Construction <br /> Guidance) ; Section 7 (Changes) ; and/or Section 16 <br /> (Termination) under THE ENGINEER AGREES of the AGREEMENT, the <br /> technical payroll cost of performing such work times a <br /> multiplier of 1 . 9 to cover overhead, profit, and readiness to <br /> serve. Direct expenses, for items such as aerial surveys, <br /> telephone tolls, stakes, iron pins, manuments, flagging, blue <br /> prints, and electronic computer shall be reimbursed at actual <br /> cost. Necessary vehicles shall be reimbursed at $0.30 per <br /> mile. "Technical payroll cost" is defined as salary cost plus <br /> (but not limited to) insurance, social security, vacation <br /> allowance, and retirement costs. Subject to the approval of <br /> the CITY, engineer may subcontract any necessary test boring <br /> or sub-surface exploration services to be rendered in <br /> accordance with Section 1c under THE ENGINEER AGREES and the <br /> CITY wi 1 1 pay the cost to the ENGINEER pl us 39K for off i ce <br /> handling. <br /> 4. To pay the ENGINEER for services rendered in accordance with <br /> Section 3 (Resident Inspection) under THE ENGINEER AGREES of <br /> the AGREEMENT the technical payroll cost of performing such <br /> work times a multiplier of 1 . 92 plus the cost of direct <br /> expenses as noted in Section 3 above. Reimbursement for <br /> transportation furnished for the resident Engineering services <br /> shall be at the rate of Two hundred dollars ($200.00) per <br /> month or twelve dollars ($12 .00) per day for any fraction of <br /> a calendar month. <br /> 5 . That payment to the ENGINEER for services rendered in <br /> accordance with Section 2 of THE CITY AGREES of this <br /> AGREEMENT will be made monthly by partial payments based <br /> upon percentage of total work accomplished, assuming the <br /> following division of the work under the various parts of <br /> Section 1 of THE ENGINEERING AGREES: <br /> Sub-Section Portion of Total Work <br /> 1a (Surveys) 28� <br /> 1b-1g (plans, Spec's, etc. ) 70R; <br /> ih (Bid Assistance) 2% <br /> 6 . That payment to the ENGINEER for services rendered in <br /> accordance with Sections 3 and 4 of THE CITY AGREES will be <br /> made monthly by partial payments based upon costs to the <br /> ENGINEER. <br /> IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED, <br /> 1 .
