-V111- <br /> XVII . SEVERABILITY OF PROVISIONS <br /> If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the <br /> remainder of this Agreement shall not be affected thereby <br /> if such remainder would then continue to conform to the <br /> terms and requirements of applicable law. <br /> XVIII . MAINTENANCE OF EFFORT <br /> Payment by the Department shall be conditioned upon the <br /> maintenance during the period of this Agreement by the <br /> Subgrantee level of aggregate expenditures for its other <br /> current projects or activities which is not less than the <br /> level of aggregate expenditures for such projects and ac- <br /> tivities prior to the execution of this Agreement. The <br /> Subgrantee will promptly notify the Department of any <br /> matters which have a material tendency to affect com- <br /> pliance with this requirement. <br /> XIX. COMPLIANCE WITH OTHER FEDERAL REGULATIONS <br /> The Subgrantee agrees to comply with the following <br /> Federal regulations as they may apply to project ad- <br /> ministration. The regulations are incorporated herein by <br /> reference. <br /> Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 (P.L. 93-234 ) <br /> HUD Lead-Based Paint Regulations , 24 CFR Part 35 <br /> Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 USC 1857 et seq. <br /> Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, <br /> 33 USC 1251 et seq. <br /> Regulations of Environmental Protection Agency, <br /> 40 CFR Part 15 , as amended <br /> Federal Labor Standards, 29 CFR Parts, 3 , 5, and <br /> 5A of Department of Labor <br /> Nondiscrimination Under Title VI of the Civil <br /> Rights Act of 1965 <br />
