10. H'ithholding for liquidated damages : � <br /> The contract administering officer may withhold or cause to he <br /> withheld, from any moneys payable on account of work performed by the <br /> contractor or subcontractor, such sums as may administratively be deter- <br /> mined to be necessary to satisfy any liabilities of such contractor or <br /> subcontractor for liquidated damages as provided in the clause set forth <br /> in paragraph �. <br /> V. STATEMENTS AND PAYROLLS <br /> 1. Compliance with Copeland Regulations (2� CFR, Part 3) : <br /> The contractor shall comply with the Copeland Regulations (2� CFR, <br /> Part 3) of the Secretary of Labor which are herein incorporated by <br /> reference. <br /> 2. Weekly statement: <br /> Each contractor or subcontractor shall furnish each week a state- <br /> ment to the contract administering officer with respect to the wages <br /> paid each of his/her employees, (including apprentices and trainees <br /> described in Section IV, paragraphs 5 and 6, and watchmen and guards) <br /> engaged on work covered by the Copeland Regulations during the greceding <br /> weekly payroll period. The Statement shall be eaecuted by the contrac- <br /> tor or subcontractor or by an authorized officer or employee of the con- <br /> tractor or subcontractor who supervises the pay-ment of wages. Contrac- <br /> tors and subcontractors must use the certification set forth on U. �. <br /> Department of Labor Form WH-348, or the same certification appearing on <br /> the reverse of Optional U. S. Department of Labor Form WH-347, or on any <br /> form with identical wording. <br /> 3. Final labor summary: <br /> The contractor and each subcontractor shall furnish, upon the <br /> completion of the contract, a summary of all employment, indicating, for <br /> the completed project, the total hours worked and the total amount <br /> earned. This data shall be submitted to the contract administering of- <br /> ficer on a form similar to State of Illinois Form PR-47. <br /> 4. Final Certification: <br /> Upon completion of the contract, the contractor shall submit to <br /> the contract administering officer a certificate concerning wages and <br /> classifications for laborers, mechanics, watchmen and guards employed on <br /> the project, in the following form: <br /> **�*��*�r�:� <br /> The undersigned, contractor on <br /> (Project) <br /> hereby certifies that all laborers, mechanics, apprentices, trainees, <br /> watchmen and guards employed by himlher or hy any subcontractor perform- <br /> ing work under the contract on the project have been paid wages at rates <br /> not less than those required by the contract provisions, and that the <br /> work performed by each such laborer, mechanic, apprentice or trainee <br /> conformed to the classification set forth in the contract or training <br /> program provisions applicable to the wage rate paid. <br /> Signature and Title <br />
