� ;' � 9 0 / y � <br /> . <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Decatur, Illinois, desires to cooperate <br /> with the Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District to <br /> encourage, promote and establish good soil conservation practices <br /> in the Lake Decatur Watershed area to keep the soil on the land <br /> and out of the lake. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED by and between the District and <br /> the City as follows: <br /> 1 . The term of this Agreement is for seventeen (17) months, <br /> commencing December 1 , 1990 and ending April 30, 1992 . <br /> 2. Ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of said term, <br /> the City will consider renewal of the Agreement for an additional <br /> one year term. <br /> 3. The City will pay to the District in seventeen (17) <br /> equal monthly installments during said term the total sum of <br />' Seventy-One Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-Seven Dollars <br /> ($71,667 . 00) . <br /> 4. The District shall apply said sum to administrative <br /> expenses, employment of a full-time Lake Decatur Watershed <br /> Specialist, a part-time Soil Conservation Technician, and to soil <br /> conservation educational programs and promotions. <br /> 5. The District shall prepare and submit to the City <br /> quarterly annual reports showing the amounts, application and ' <br /> manner of use of funds paid to it by the City, and shall permit I�I <br /> the City to examine its books and records upon reasonable notice <br /> and during customary business hours. <br />
