 . , t •
Company Information
Page 2
Austin McDaniel Corporation' s first successful commercial software was the
Piping Workstation System (PWS) . PWS is a microcomputer based application
providing an integrated framework to perform interactive modeling and finite
element analysis of piping systems in the power, petrochemical , and process
industries. PWS contains extensive data translation and interactive three-
dimensional graphics capabilities all within a microcomputer environment. PWS
has been marketed internationally by Control Data Corporation.
Other custom software developed by Austin McDaniel Corporation includes
several programs that exchange input data files between piping analysis codes,
a data management system for seismic response spectra used in stress analysis
of piping, and software which converts bulk terrain data into two-dimensional
contour lines and three-dimensional wireframe displays and a program for
global adjustment of map drawing file (F1exMap) .
Austin McDaniel Corporation is currently focusing its efforts on development
and implementation of its Delphi/GIS, a large scale integration of computer
aided mapping, relational database management , and graphic display technology
designed for distribution utility, municipal government, and emergency
services customers. AMC' s Delphi/GIS software is marketed both regionally and
nationally directly by AMC and via lBM' s Business Partner program.
